We have an opportunity for an Intern to join our Research informatics team.

The Intern will be assisting the Research Informatics team in exporting data from a high-throughput screening database and creating large data sets for analysis. The candidate will also perform other bioinformatics duties as assigned.

Candidate must have a high-school diploma and be actively pursuing a B.S. degree in bioinformatics, chemistry, biology, engineering or computer science. The candidate will preferably have some experience in bioinformatics, either in databases, data analysis or software development. A background in both biology and informatics is desired, and fluent Perl and SQL scripting skills are a plus. Qualified candidates will be highly motivated team players with excellent communication skills.
